Position Overview

The qualified candidate has a background and/or experience in a variety of areas including Digital Asset Management best practices and strategy workflows, Corporate Archiving, Change Management, CPG/Entertainment/Media Sector, Taxonomy Development, and Project Management.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Champion corporate-wide DAM adoption and deliver training to global clients and internal stakeholders in access and use
  • Engage and collaborate with stakeholders, content creators, global clients, and vendors to create and develop DAM initiatives
  • Provide strategic solutions that enhance asset workflow, information governance, and DAM maintenance
  • Manage assets from various workflows and sources to normalize metadata
  • Coordinate high priority projects that meet time sensitive deadlines
  • Supervise teams to direct projects and overall DAM maintenance
  • Create and enhance standards across the entire life cycle of the record
  • Communicate ROI and measured results related to user experience, metadata, asset throughput and accessibility
  • Identify, align, and translate business goals with overall corporate DAM initiatives

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Understanding of various technology tools and the ability to translate and communicate with IT and stakeholders
  • Ability to recommend and execute user permissions and access
  • Create, train, execute and document DAM policies and procedures
  • Strategize and troubleshoot at the cross section of users, processes, and systems
  • Ability to accelerate SME brand expertise and management
  • Serve as a liaison between upper management, creative agencies, and departmental entities

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years working in DAM or related professional experience
  • Degree in Library Information Science, Infomatics, Communication, Marketing, Project Management, Digital Media or related field, or professional experience equivalent
  • Experience prioritizing and curating large collections of digital content
  • Experience with varied asset workflows and content life cycle management
  • High level expertise in taxonomy and metadata structures, taxonomy and governance best practices
  • Expertise with various rich media content and design software formats
  • Collaborating and developing policy and procedures to support enterprise systems
  • Expertise customizing solution standards based on industry, DAM, and client-based needs
  • Collaboration with stakeholders to translate and communicate business requirements, metrics, and ROI
  • Ability to strategize process, project, and program improvements
  • Experience supervising small onsite and virtual teams
  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients on projects across departments
  • Ease in working in fast paced, dynamic and deadline-driven environment

Desired Skills

  • Experience working with PIM, MAM, or related systems preferred
  • Industry experience working with entertainment, CPG, post-production, and design content
  • An understanding of content usage rights, restrictions and licensing
  • The ability to strategize monetization and repurposing of rich media assets
