DAM Administrator

DAM Administrator supports the organization, its users, partners and creative agencies through day-to-day DAM operations, updates, upgrades, and system integrations. DAM operations include metadata schema, taxonomy development, integrations support, workflow design and user engagement. 

Responsibilities

DAM Administration:

  • Provide end-user access and support to DAM for internal and external teams:
    • Create DAM configurations and day-to-day workflows
    • Add, change and map internal users to user groups based on user role
    • Onboard agencies and vendors
    • Request user group adds/changes for external users
  • Manage the determination user’s role(s), permissions, and monitoring use.
  • Audit assets and enter metadata to facilitate quick and efficient searching.
  • Promote, train and support DAM users for new processes and system updates.
  • Determine and implement best practices that support change management.
  • Manage DAM communications to answer issues and address user feedback.
  • Develop, document, and deliver processes and procedures surrounding the DAM operation and its key functions.
  • Create or revise training materials, job aids and conduct user training.
  • Identify technical and functional issues and communicate system performance issues.
  • Develop workflow diagrams and procedures.
  • Provide technical support and serve as liaison to Manage Services IT support.
  • Serve as primary engagement contact between the organization, its creative agencies and technical/vendor partners who need access to and training in DAM.
  • Build assistive relationships with brand managers/users, operations, and corporate teams to foster productive DAM use, and to ensure brand consistency and brand equity are met.
  • Serve as ambassador of DAM program promoting its success in meeting brand partners’ objectives.

Sitecore Implementation & Integrations:

  • Serve on core team for implementation and transition from OpenText OTMM to Sitecore Content Hub.
  • Partner with IT, eCommerce, and Packaging teams on Sitecore’s taxonomy and metadata schema.
  • Participate in system testing relative to the implementation schedule.
  • Participate in meetings with KHC business-to-business partners to discuss open issues.
  • Collaborate to resolve integration issues between content management system, DAM, and PIM systems to ensure current imagery appears in all three systems; identify and resolve discrepancies as needed.
  • Review and participate in technical integration approaches with regards to best practices

Qualifications

  • DAM experience at enterprise level
  • Knowledge of OpenText Media Manager and/or Sitecore Content Hub
  • Familiarity with system implementation, planning, execution and testing
  • Familiarity with Product Information Management system, Salsify or other PIM software
  • Familiarity with content management and syndication systems Syndigo, Atlas Systems, Salsify, or comparable software.
  • Project management experience with cross-functional groups including technical partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Knowledge or practice in Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Effective communicator and problem-solving skills
  • Previous role-based experience with system implementation, integrations using APIs, and eCommerce support.
  • Advanced use of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Powerpoint
