It’s not quite summer but our DVD and Blu-ray new releases are already generating some heat from consumers who’ve seen the lineup of preorder titles from our partner Retailers. We’ve added over 10 new studios for exclusive AV MOD distribution of classic films, contemporary TV, horror, documentary, genres of all tastes.
This week is no different with bringing two extreme ends of storytelling to retail…from the wild geniuses behind the megahit “SHARKNADO“, Global Asylum Studios adds their first “wave” of camp, horror and comedy hits for immediate retail. Successful in all sales channels, we’re looking for great success from our AV Retailers with this collection from Asylum. On a much more somber note, Sarah Blum brings David Blum‘s cancer documentary “Appointment with a Wise Old Dog” to broad release on DVD through the AV sales channels.
Rounding off this week’s addition of new programming from our great studios, FilmRise, Warner Archive’s, HBO LA, Vision Films and Leomark Studios, there’s titles for everyone.

Blum believed that his inner discoveries and experience could help others realize their own spiritual strengths in a time of crisis. The film, based upon decades of his dream journals and paintings, depicts a lifetime’s inner journey. This moving and multi-dimensional documentary, which has reached an astounding cross-section of society by way of an amazing grass-roots movement, defies categorization.
