Business Operations Integrations and Communications Specialist
Allied Vaughn is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Business Operations Integrations and Communications Specialist to work with our client in the Automotive Industry.
Description
The Business Operations Integrations and Communications Specialist role is a blend of the current Digital Service Provider (DSP) integrations space along with the BizOps Communications and Training space. The selected candidate will be responsible for becoming a subject matter expert (SME) in all programs and applications affecting the dealer service lane including Online Service Scheduling (OSS), Service Lane Tool (SLT), Dealer Management Systems (DMS), and others. This role will support the DSP Integrations team in all aspects of these programs and applications including third-party vendor integration certification, while also creating and delivering various training and communications artifacts (digital, print, video) to support the applications and programs as well as the wider initiatives for the Business Operations team and Digital Sales & Services organization in support of our customers, dealers, and field team.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary business point of contact for third-party vendors throughout their implementation of Digital Service Solutions’ integrations during the development, testing, pilot, and release phases in the US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina
- Become an SME on various applications affecting the Service Solutions line of business
- Drive operational success metrics and goals for the Business Operations team in conjunction with the Service Insights team
- Work with third-party vendors to implement spec updates to support application updates
- Manage compliance with vendor contracts
- Assist with DSP spec development and help establish business requirements
- Work with the UAT team, Product Managers, Business Leads, third-party vendors, and dealers to validate integration functionality and timely deployment
- Assist with the implementation of an overall training and onboarding process for service lane field personnel
- Compose, edit, and publish service lane related training documents, marketing materials, newsletters, and more
- Organize and facilitate training sessions for external vendors, field personnel, dealers, and internal stakeholders
- Attend and present at industry trade shows and other dealer/field events to share information on upcoming features and developments in the service lane
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or similar discipline
- Must be comfortable presenting in front of large groups of dealers, field teams, and leadership
- Experience creating and hosting training content for both onsite and remote participants
- Must be able to travel ~25% of the time to attend and present at large industry conferences, global brand meetings, regional field trainings, etc.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Project Management background and experience
- Strong MS-Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot tables, etc.) and MS-PowerPoint
- Must be familiar with dealership fixed operations and service lane processes
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize accordingly
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills required to work effectively with other teams across the organization, and with dealers and field personnel
- Must be able to travel to Warren, MI for onsite work 1-3 days per week
Preferred Qualifications
- Marketing/advertising background
- MS-Power BI
- Knowledge of and experience with the field organization preferred
- Highly collaborative work style. Enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment
- Understanding of technical language and ability to troubleshoot bandwidth on demand, endpoints, web services, data transfers, etc.
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills working with external teams
- Analytics background a plus
