Video Content Manager

Allied Vaughn seeks an assistant video editor and content manager responsible for ensuring all asset files the organization’s editors require are prepared and ready for editing.  The position requires managing files from ingesting, metadata application, archiving and delivery to editors. Excellent customer service is required to support both internal and external clients. 

Responsibilities

  • Work in IPV Curator (Video Asset Management) to organize media for projects, enter metadata, and ensure proper file ingestion and preview of assets. 
  • Create Adobe Premiere project import files, organize bins, and sync audio and video footage for editors
  • Export audio and video for transcription of content by timecode using either REV application or IPV Curator.  
  • Organize and maintain project folders and content files according to the organization’s Standard Operating Procedures. 
  • Export final cuts and associated assets for sound mixes and color correction with external vendors
  • Process footage for legal review with a complete stock log and release form audit
  • Receive and deliver files and hard drives internally and externally with producers, editors, and vendors
  • Research and fulfill footage upon request from colleagues
  • Edit and export quick-turn video projects on occasion
  • Research B-roll from stock sites for editors
  • Inventory, track and manage all video hard drives
  • Coordinate with Digital Asset Manager to check in footage from video shoots 
  • Perform other technical job-related duties as assigned
  • Identify and propose innovation to support program goals; measure and report results based on Key performance indicators (KPI)

Qualifications

  • Experience and knowledge of post-production workflows and the ability to improve processes for increased efficiency
  • Knowledge, training or experience using Adobe Premiere and Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop
  • Knowledge of industry file formats, codecs, and their proper handling in a post-production workflow
  • Interest in continuous professional learning and development within digital video media best practices and production tools
