Featured Job: Business Development Manager

Allied Vaughn seeks a business development professional to lead the growth of our managed service practice.

Leadership

  • Plan, execute, and lead the growth of new and existing professional and managed services
  • Own strategic sales business planning including P&L and go to market plan
  • Consult with clients who are evaluating, deploying, implementing, or managing systems.
  • Use market awareness of SAAS systems and market research for North American market, Enterprise-Small-Medium organizations, and B2B/B2C product distribution channels to steer strategy
  • Embrace Allied Vaughn’s system-agnostic content management mission
  • Develop standard practices and reporting internally working with project delivery managers, functional areas, and executive management
  • Apply knowledge in one or more industries such as manufacturing, distribution, retail/wholesale, finance to methods
  • Employ change management practices and work productively across the organization

Sales Development

  • Execute sales and business growth plan with new and existing customers using a consultative solution approach
  • Be the voice of the customer in developing campaigns, website, and marketing communications
  • Expand capabilities of Allied Vaughn’s competency by adapting recruiting practices, developing talent, growing employees’ knowledge base and certifications.
  • Define managed services and solutions, and their delivery method, applicable to the market segments that align to Allied Vaughn’s skill sets, competencies, and competitors
  • Develop sales channel marketing strategy based on service solutions and market segments
  • Establish and manage strategic partnerships ensuring the metrics are mutually profitable

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, and professional certifications preferred
  • Minimum of five years of successful solution sales in consulting or technology
  • CRM experience including configuration, administration, and reporting roles
  • Create and maintain CRM leads, opportunities, and sales pipeline
  • Excellent and persuasive verbal communication, visual presentation, and demonstration skills
  • Experience with M365 suite, business systems, sales analytics
  • Demonstrated customer relationship-building experience in acquisition and sales conversion
  • Some travel expected
